“When I founded the company, I did everything myself. Back then only a handful of companies in Europe worked in the fire safety of buildings. So I started developing our own products, and that became the foundation of our success.
We are doing well thanks to our fire curtains, rooflights and smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems. We protect, for example, Václav Havel Airport, a Slovak nuclear power plant, the Fondation Louis Vuitton building and more than a thousand industrial buildings and other properties.
But it does not end there. To stay one step ahead of the rest, we keep developing new, innovative products and technologies.”

Our latest product
We have developed the FK MIST water mist fire suppression system. It extinguishes electrical equipment and flammable liquids and is more environmentally friendly than suppression systems using halons and CO2.
We protect over 1000 buildings
We have reached a historic milestone. Our solutions are part of the fire protection of buildings all over Europe — in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, France and Norway.
Mochovce nuclear power plant
In Slovakia we delivered the smoke and heat exhaust ventilation for the entire third and fourth units of the nuclear power plant in Mochovce.
We protect the Fondation Louis Vuitton gallery
At first they turned us down because we are not a French company. In the end, though, we were the only ones in Europe able to devise a complete smoke and heat exhaust ventilation solution.
A world first
We are the first company in the world to develop and successfully test façade windows, and later roof windows too, for smoke and heat exhaust.
We develop fire curtains
They meet the same fire standards, yet they are smaller and cheaper than fire doors and other solutions on the market.
We safeguard the Czech pavilion at Expo
Literally overnight we came up with a complete smoke and heat exhaust ventilation solution for the Czech pavilion at EXPO 2000 in Hanover.
The first rooflight dome made in the Czech Republic
We are the first Czech company to develop and successfully certify a rooflight dome for smoke and heat exhaust, the FK PLASTIC. Until then, rooflights had only been imported from abroad.
We created our own product
We develop a control panel for smoke ventilation of protected escape routes which automates the operation of sensors, fans and electric window opening.
We start out
František Kregl founds FK servis. For the first six months he is on his own, wearing both overalls and a suit jacket. After a year the first permanent employees join.
