RADIATION-REDUCING FIRE CURTAINS
Category:

They have EW fire resistance and reduce heat transfer for 15 to 120 minutes. Unlike other textile fire curtains, they do not need water spraying.

They are lighter, smaller and blend into the interior better than, for example, steel fire shutters.


When there is no fire, the curtains are almost invisible. This makes them useful, for example, in garages, office buildings or shopping centres. We manufacture them only from proven components from Germany.

3 ways to anchor fire curtains

Installation into a structural opening

  • We install the curtain directly into the opening, for example into a passage between two sections of a warehouse.
  • This reduces the clear dimensions of the opening by 240 mm on the horizontal axis and 200—300 mm on the vertical axis, depending on the type of roller shutter used.
  • The fire roller shutter can be clad in plasterboard, so that it isalmost invisible.

Anchoring the curtain in front of the structural opening

  • We use a steel structure and fix the curtain to the lintel above the structural opening. This means the clear dimensions of the structural opening are not reduced.
  • The structure is alsoprotected against damage for example from a forklift. It is also easily accessible, which makes maintenance easier.

Installation into the ceiling

  • So that we do not reduce the clear height of the opening, we anchor the fire curtain to the ceiling.
  • We install the curtain's headbox flush with the suspended ceiling, so that it is not visible.
  • This is used in shopping centres or office buildings, where it is important that curtains do not look disruptive in the interior.
